Brad Keselowski earned his third consecutive win Sunday at the opening playoff race in Las Vegas Motor Speedway, but a fourth straight win seems unlikely as NASCAR heads to Richmond’s short track for Saturday night’s Federated Auto Parts 400.
Richmond is a flat, 3/4-mile track that’s quite similar to New Hampshire’s and Phoenix’s apartment monitors. Drivers who’ve had success at those monitors have been contenders at Richmond.
NASCAR seen with Phoenix and New Hampshire after each earlier in this season. In the summer, Kevin Harvick took the checkers, but Kyle Busch led the most laps. Harvick also won New Hampshire, but it was Kurt Busch leading the most laps.

Keselowski finished 15th and 32nd in Phoenix and New Hampshire this season, but he has finished 11th or better in the last six races in Richmond. A top-10 appears likely for the No. 2 team, but you will find drivers more healthy for the short-track racing on Saturday.
